thanks tbmanivong! those are exactly what i am after. if you hear of anymore spots let me know. i think the 1-2lb catfish are the best eating. the monsters arnt fit to eat.

It's hard to find large channels or catch them in quantities. They are there. Northern Colorado? Where in Northern Colorado?

I have heard and seen good catfish report from Big Thompson Ponds (previous years), Boyd, N. Sterling, Prewitt, & Horseshoe (across the street from Boyd).

Sorry man but its hard to get good reports on cats in Colorado. I have tried several times and I am told to search. Then all I find is one or two line reports. I just don't think many people care to fish for them here. Fish on!

anyone know of a good fishing spot for channel cats in northern colorado. seen them fishing for some on tv yesterday and it looked like fun.
