bugz I may have to go back with fins and a scuba mask and take a look at the bottom of the pool below where I flipped.

One sacrific to the river gods..

Lost an old fiberglass rod and reel on the Arkansas River, Bighorn Sheep canyon and I think it was red rocks or tin cup rapid above Vallie Bridge. Not sure of the make of the rod or reel. But it was a 6/7 weight and it has white duct tape holding one of the guides on. The drag on the reel does not actually adjust, luckily it broke at a good setting. I know that it is not worth much, but it was my fathers... It is the one I learned to cast with. It also survived many days on the river and many flips in the inflatable kayak. The guide was broken when a friend climbed in to chase down the raft he just flipped on a river in ID. I doubt that it will turn up, but got to try.. Well I am sure that Dad would approve of how it was lost.
