Re: Boyd??????

I stopped by Boyd to check it out today. The auxiliary ramp in Heron Cove (north of the marina channel) looks quite usable. The path from the road down to the water is kind of long, but you can drive down it front-end-first and then turn around near the bottom to back your boat in. There is no dock out, and the ramp is narrow, barely one boat wide, but I didn't see any big problems with it. I'm going to take my boat down there Friday morning and give the walleyes a shot. One fisherman with a float tube said that he had been getting a lot of white bass.

Re: Boyd??????

Drove by it yesterday and there is not any water coming in yet. The last time I put in the boat was two weeks ago and that was on the ramp in Heron Cove.

Any word on the water level at Boyd? Are they pumping water yet. Can you get a boat in at all at the Jet ski ramp? I need to get out and have a Perch fry .
