Got to the res at 7:45 at the wind was rippin. Only saw a couple of boats on the water. We launched the boat and anchored down at the inlet. The waves were so high the only thing we could do was cast heavy hardware. We had no luck so we headed up to lazy boy bay for some relief from the wind, nothing there so we surfed the waves all the way to east bay were the wind was manageable. Fished there for a couple of hours without a bite and headed home. The only thing we caught all day was air off the waves...the wind did not let up all morning...the biggest waves I have ever seen on the mile. These are the kind of days that make catching fish at 11-mile so rewarding...can't wait to go back.
