Got up to the Mile about 7 AM. I set up over on the rocks on the north shore to fish for Pike. Fished till noon with a fresh 6" Sucker on a quick strike rig and jigged large soft plastics to no avail.
I went over to the inlet and there were two guys in my favorite drift already so i walked in about a half mile. I caught fish all afternoon long on a egg pattern with a #18 Red Brassie dropper, but they were only 10-14". I did hook a couple of big spawners down closer to the inlet, but I couldn't stop them :'( All in all it was a good day and it sure beats the #### out of work!
