Hit up my honey-hole area from 7am till 11am. Not a bite. Except for the biting wind rolling breakers into my spot causing ice-glazed rocks to roll underfoot. If not for my cat-like reflexes I woulda' been doomed.

So me and the dog fished 2 other spots that had the wind at our backs and life was good but still no bites. Finally left at 130pm after I hit a certain stocker spot and could not even beg a hit there.

I'll never go back-

Haha- I been saying that once or twice per year @ 11-mile since the late '80s. I ALWAYS go back. ;)

Pounded the bows last 5 trips in a row. That place WILL kick your ass eventually.

I agree with Funk, if you had to be out in the cold on sat. you might as well be catching some trout the Canyon was still crazy cold but feeling the tug on your line warmed you up.

Hey Slayer, you should have hopped down below the dam, everybody was whacking trout in the river, you probably even could have got one or two. >:D
I'd rather have a root canal- :D
