Here's what my original post looked like:

I've got an ol' 12 ft Seaking that I'm lookin to sell. Also gotta Minn Kota Endura 40 lb thrust electric trolling motor on it. Trailer, fish finder, battery and oars included. I'm looking at selling it for..... "PM me and we'll discuss."

Don't really want to sell it, but I've got storage issues and the lady's been wanting me to get rid of it. It's got me into plenty of fish already this year anyway so I'm happy with the service it provided.

I also forgot to add that there are two folding, rotating seats. It's an older boat (1969) but it's still a fishing machine. It's a great 1st boat and especially great for smaller waters. If you're looking for a boat that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, but will float you to some lunkers, this one's for you. I towed it around with a 4 banger Toyota pickup so you could imagine how light it is. Only had it since April and the last time I used it was early July. Easy to maintain. Never had a problem with it. Once again, if anyone is interested, PM me. I need to sell this thing. I'm sure somebody will put it to more use than I have.

Accord V6. I've seen some cats pull 14 footers with Accords all the way out to Blue Lake! But it's really your call on if you wanna do that or not. I towed this thing up and down mountain roads and highways all the way up to Lake Jefferson for lake trout fishing without a problem, but again... Mine's a truck so I let it get scarred every once in a while.

Well, I'm not sure you can say that the Renault pulled that trailer. In fact, it seemed to be the other way around. ;D

In any event, like a friend always told me: many vehicles can tow heavy trailers -- the question is how fast you want to go... A different friend of mine towed a 18' Hobie cat with a Volkswagon GTI for several years. While a truck would definitely be preferable, it seems to me that an Accord V-6 could handle it. What does your owner's manual say about towing?

Towing capacity is 1000 lbs. I know my car can haul SHARK BAIT. I'm just worried about pulling the boat up the lauching ramp. It's only a 2 wheel drive(front). I've never launched a boat before but have seen it done. Some cars go into the water to bring the boat up.

If I did make the purchase I would use it in reservoirs/lakes close to home. I just have a storage issue right now. Most boat storage is a little pricey.

I'm so ignorant, I forgot to answer that. Sorry. The answer is: NO I did not paint it myself. It came like that. In fact, the camo paint job is one of the reasons why I bought it. I was hoping to use it for waterfowling on N. Sterling Res (setting decoys, retrieving downed birds, getting to that public peninsula that no one can get to without a boat etc. etc..) The owner before mentioned it was used for waterfowling before in its younger days too.

It's all good. Hunting @ Sterling? Always wanted to get into that. I like camo. My son would think we were going to war if I bought that boat and would love every minute on that boat. He's a GI Joe fanatic.

I am a tech at Honda your accord can pull a boat but the trany can not hold it it is not a good idea at all.
