Hello, I have a project boat on my hands and wanted input on selling so figured this might be a good spot to start.

Before passing away last year, my father dismantled his 1988 17' Bluefin Sportsman. As you can see from the pictures, it is all in pieces as he was in the process of replacing some flooring and replacing all of the carpeting. The engine ran the last time it was out, looks to be 2012. I believe everything is there but can't vouch for every single screw. I believe the new carpet is all cut and ready.

I have no idea what I can even get for this? I would be happy to discuss further with serious buyers. The boat is located in Loveland. Thank you
-Shane

It looks like your dad had it almost finished. Not saying what you can get, but you'll get a lot more if you took a weekend and finished it. And get the motor started. Otherwise, you'll take a big hit on the price.

If I verify the engine is running, any thoughts on an asking price as is with a running engine?
The boat is completely dismantled inside. Carpet is cut but nothing has been put back together and I really don't have the time on the weekends to try and guess how it all goes back together.

After having lunch with my brother today, he has decided to take a crack at putting it back together. We'll see how it goes, best case is it will be back up for sale in running condition at some point.

thanks
