I hit a section of a river close to home. It is public but takes an hour of hiking to get too becuase of the private land. The fishing was fab! I caught 6 rainbows and 2 brown. Lost 3 more nice rainbows. All were super aggessive. I caught them all on large woolly buggers. The fish just attacked the thing!!

Worst part of day-Sprained my ankle at the absolute furest point from my car. 2 hours of hiking out was a *****! 4 river crossings and lots of off trail hiking.

Very nice colors on those bows. I would make the proverbial "I know that spot" comment, but I don't think I do...

If you haven't been there in the warmer weather, WATCH OUT FOR RATTLESNAKES!!

They hide in the grass and you can't see them until you walk right up to them. I've even had them swim towards me when on the water. Nice job for making the hike. It is worth it. Unless you get bit by a rattler ;D
