8 people CAPPED for this dry fly swap. Please plan on having your flies completed and sent in to me no later then Friday, May 20, 2016 (~6 weeks to complete flies). PM me for my address when ready.

RULES - Each tier will tie 21 dry flies (the pattern is your choice as long as it is a dry fly, please call out what you are tying so there are fewer duplicates). NO store bought and passed off as your own (Trust us, we will know). Upon completion, put paper or foam toe tags on each fly to identify the fly name and/or tier. Then send the flies in a "padded" envelope to me with a couple dollars to help cover return postage or include a self addressed "padded" envelope with postage already included. Once I have everyone's flies, I will distribute three flies from each tier to all the participants so in the end you will receive 18 flies back (three from each of the other tiers). I hope that makes sense. Normally, tiers will send their flies in a small container like an Altoid tin box or something similar to protect the flies. Also, please post up a recipe of your dry fly pattern when you have completed the swap, I will use that to start another post with all the recipes/photos, thanks!

Tyers:
COCarp - #14 Puterbaugh Caddis - (one of each green, black and tan)
BigRedFan - Garcia's mini hot
Pilotfly - Peacock Caddis
EastCoastAngler - #18 Adams parachute in Purple Haze
Bugz - Ken's Killer Ant either as a parachute or flying ant.
fcollinscatcher - #12 Chubby Chernobyl
szupparo - Vinyl bodied caddis #14
Wiscobert - #16 BWO

If it's okay with everyone I decided to tie a Peacock Caddis rather than the BWO. If those in the swap would rather the Caddis let me know.
Sounds good to me, I saw you were initially doing a parachute pattern as well and thought I might change but this works!

I had a feeling this was going to happen...

Make that 8 interested. Thinking BWO
Vouching for Andy. New to CF, not new to tying.

I'd be interested but I need a new vice and I haven't really tied many dries, mostly streamers and nymphs/midges.
Whompus - I'd like to include you...what do you want to tie?

After these two, WE'RE CLOSED for this swap.

Guys now that we're going to have 9, do you want to do 2 flies or 3 flies per person. So 18 or 24? I'd prefer 24 but that's just me 8). I do understand that a chubby chernobyl will take more time than most.

Should be another good swap! I will tying your new favorite dry/indicator dry- the Chubby Chernobyl. Thinking a size 12. Still undecided if I should go tan body/dubbing or black body with purple dubbing. The black and purple has proved pretty deadly for me so I am leaning that way.

I am fine with tying up 24 and I don't mind recieving less than 3 of the chubbies since they are a bit involved.

Picked up several lifetimes supply of krazy ant body material today for $3.50... I think I will send out some of the body material with my flies......

Like I said, my dry fly skills aren't really up to par yet. I think I'll probably have to pass this one up.

Yes you can get it in black. But then you can only do black ants rather than varying the colors. But Black might sustain more teeth before it shows wear. But the black was like a whole dollar more..... lol

Well this is what it looks like in red. I think I am going to have to tie these with parachute posts and/or wings so I don't feel like I am shorting you all in the effort department.. This is definitely a under a minute tie as pictured. With as easy as it is I think the white will be great. I could churn out a seasons worth in an hour.
