It's all high up right now. I was at a lake above 10k feet and this weekend and there was 4-6 inches of ice. There was open water at the inlet and outlets. I saw a guy fly fishing while I was ice fishing. Pink was the color of the day for me. It was a lot of work for 8" brookies, but I was happy to get out there. Winter in the mountains is my favorite time of year.

Any new updates? seems a tad warmer this year. Anyone checked out Evergreen, Georgetown, Officer's gulch, and Dillon area? I'm just looking for somewhere close to drop a line.

Thanks!

Og and Georgetown are very safe. Fished both with my kid this last weekend.

Monument has “fishable ice” on about 1/2 of the lake. 3” by the dam and 4-5” along the E side and NE bay.
