Went fishing at Brush Hollow today. I got there around 10 AM. The water is stained and the water temp is still under 60. I don't know the exact temp but the bass are not bedding yet that I saw. The fishing was great. I caught 6 or 7 bass and about 15 crappie. All fish were caught on a chartruese Gulp minnow grub. I caught the bass up shallow and the crappie were deeper. I would cast out and let my lure sink for a 5 count and then slowly reel in. Most of the crappie were small but some of them were really nice. I only kept 2. Here they are.

On a sad note. The water is down and it is dropping rapidly. I don't think you will be able to get a boat on Brush Hollow in 10 days.

They were all largemouths. None of them were very big. I did talk to a gentleman that said he caught a 5 pound bass earlier in the morning. I did ot see the fish he said he released it.
