April 23 -9th Annual Kid's Fishing Derby - Centennial park Pond, 221 Griffin Ave. Eight years & under will fish from 9am to 11am; 9-14 years will fish from 11am to 1pm. Contact Recreation and Parks at 719-275-1578.

They do for sure.  My 5 yr old loves to go out and we probably go together about once a month.  He caught a 15lb carp here in the Springs last month.  I STILL hear about that one every day  ::)  ::). And wouldn't change that for anything  ;D
