With the warmer weather I decided to hit pueblo in the kayak yesterday. Fished from 8-12 between the north ramp and the dam, then relocated to the west side. I fished around turkey creek until about 3:30 when I was quite literally blown off the water. About 7 hours and only one small eye and a trout to show for. Not the most productive day but a relaxing one. The water temperature seems to be warming up a bit, a few more weeks and the bite should improve.

On the way out I stopped at the north marina store and saw several big bass, and walleye swimming around the docks. About made me sick😂

The Walleye may have been from the DOW spawning operation.
Worth visiting if your in the North Marina in the AM.
