Met up with forum members Slayer,Grababreski,Fishslap, and LittleMac for a nice little hike on a Chilly Saturday morning. Weather peeps were wrong on this one as it was 11 degrees when we left the car @ 7:30 and 19 degrees when we returned @ 3:30. As stated in another thread, perch were hard to "come" by as they were really finicky and weren't really schooled.

Tiny demon jigs and Firetiger jigging raps (tipped with waxies) caught most of the fish in 20ft of water.

Kept 11 perch, gonna try Fishslaps Chowder recipe. (can pays tribute to our general location :)

And I will have enough Laker bait for the year!

Other than it being pretty chilly and the fishing less than spectacular, it was a great
day outdoors with new friends and old!

Happy New Year everyone!

Yep never did hit any school action. Glad we were able to get the fish we did.
Fun day though.
