Dave nobody can say you don't have pueblo dialed in. I haven't had my boat out in a year, just catching a ride with friends a few times and that hasn't been very productive. if I can get my son fired up again I will get back on the lake.

I hope you get out there too Byron. Can't think about Pueblo Reservoir without thinking about walleye seeker down there fishing.

I think those days are gone now, I just cant take long days in the boat anymore. some days I can do 3 to5 hours other days I can do 8 hours. its not fair to invite someone out and have to quit after only a couple of hours later. the friends I go with understand and will take me to the dock when I ask. I haven't been able to take the boat alone for about 7 or 8 years and I have retired from fishing tourneys this year. I wanted to do Nate's tourney this year but my grand son and grand daughter are graduating this week end so I just retired

In one paragraph Byron you mentioned family and friends. I've heard you speak of them on many occasions on here. Even retired, you've had a heck of a good run. I can only hope to have the same. Shoot, all of your fishing trips now are just the cherry on top of the sundae.

Although, if I were to hire a guide. If he's good, I'd prefer he fished also. You can learn a lot by watching, asking and imitating.

that's pretty much exactly what I'd pay for. I'd rather go fishing with an expert who is also fishing who can teach something than someone who just takes you, casts for you and nets the fish.
