I know many of you, like I, own flashers for icefishing. (I have the vexilar fl-18). It has now been a little over 4 months since I last icefished, and you should probably all recharge your batteries if you don't use it during open water so they stay fresh. Vexilar says its a good idea.

As per your suggestion Bear, I now have a slot in my ice box dedicated to Buckshot Rattle Spoons! They now share almost equal jigging duty with my Kastmasters.

Gotta love the buckshot, works well for lakers, trout, panfish, and pike. I bet they really hammer walleyes too. Don't try them in open water though unless you are vertically jigging over fish; they don't work well as a casting spoon.

I most have miss the thread on using rattlespoon for icefishing. Haven't heard or seen any of the buckshot rattle spoons. Sounds like your going to use them through the ice to "rattle in" the lakers et cetera is this correct? Does Gander or Sportsmans carry them?
