Just a suggestion on posting in the "fishing reports"

Don't create an entirely new topic to do a report on a Reservoir/stream that already has a topic. Just add a reply under the same topic, "Aurora res". Otherwise, there will be like 50 different "Aurora" topics throughout the summer.

I disagree. ??? If you post under someone elses post your report will be lost in all the questions and comments about the report. Why have a report from March mixed into reports from July. As long as its not a bandwidth issue with Don/Ken than I don't see why having a bunch of reports from a bunch of diffrent people with a bunch of diffrents tatics make a diff

I have to agree with Jay, posting under someone elses post, reports do get lost in all the questions, comments and feedback.

Have you ever noticed how threads often change...you start out with a topic, say a fishing report...and somewhere in midstream the topic has changed to something else? That's just because of the way people communicate, its a natural thing to go from one subject to another and not think about it. Which is why i disagreed. maybe that's just my thinking, but it is how i see it. People don't always have to agree with me and i don't always have to agree with them. Just as long as no one does any beheadings.... ;D

Well Koni, I'll admit, I was wrong oncet, a long time ago, but only just that one time, so I didn't expect to be wrong again so soon, but, if that's the group consensus.....so be it. Nothing better than many voices to share input. ;D

This is a democracy we live in and not a dictatorship.  Though on my boat (my very small world) I am ruler supreme and getting beached or banned from my vessel is a definite possibility.  (That in my opinion is a fate worse than beheading)

Not that I am trying to stray off the topic or anything but...........I can't help myself.

I was wondering if it would be a big deal for Don to create a some folders under the fishing reports section...like for the major areas...Chatfield, Aurora, Quincy, Spinney, Blue Mesa, Elevenmile, Lake John, John Martin...etc.

As long as people post lake and date then it doesnt really matter no need for multiple directories.
Example:
Chatfield 3-3-05
Caught 5 million fish on night crawlers.

Then if you also fished chatfield on the same day as my post you just add to the one that is there for the same day, but if you fished a different day make a new one.
Example:

Didnt catch anything cause ePiC was fishing next to me and he landed every fish in the lake.

Good ideas. Some of the fishing reports have been very good. Zman in particular, has put up some good reports, that will stop ePic from catching 5 million fish per day. Here's a sample fishing report: (just a suggestion)

[from ePic] 5-15-05 Sunny, 85 deg , fishing alongside Dan's boat... used Nightcrawlers & Rapalas. Nawanda tied our lines together. Thought we had hit a big school of wipers. Ate Peanut butter sandwiches w/Kool-Aid for lunch. Nawanda laughs like a hyena.
