someone should introduce him to ol' bernie keefe if he wanted a monster that bad, lol. probably cheaper and warmer being on granby with better results. most of the fish he caught were only 5-10 lbs.

for real though, this makes me want to go to labrador. he also has videos and episodes of fishing for walleye and pike up north, and noodling in OK for catfish. it's pretty cool seeing him handlining jewfish out of pilings... a measure in bravery or stupidity...

The show is called "Chasing Monsters" and the episodes are pretty decent.

There is another show on Netflix called "Monster Fish" which is pretty good as well.

In my opinion both shows are much better than "River Monsters."

It's all about the 'adventure' of it with those shows which is entertaining to be sure... I agree though if you want a monster grab Bernie or someone like that.

The dude on monster fish is a toolbag. Seen a few of his episodes. Dude sets the hook like a noob on a zebco and has no idea how to handle a rod. Only thing hes good at is giggling like a skirt wearing school girl. I bet he has no idea what a half hitch is. He aint got loose movement on wade. Dude even brought a full on stove in the wooden boat on one episode. :

ive seen quite a few guides go over the boarder for pup lakers. at least on youtube. that guy who has the show where he pulled the boat up to shore trying to bum hitch hikers driving by to fish with him. he looks like he knows his stuff and he didnt have much luck up there either.

Zeb Hogan, the dude on Monster Fish, is an aquatic ecologist not a professional angler. He definitely fishes like a noob but it's still a decent show to watch and the kids enjoy watching it with me.
