I have been with my grandad in mississippi adn have had snakes climb in the baot. my grandad would nail them with the paddle to knock them out. we took fishing line and tied their mouth shut and threw them into the water. not very kind but it wasn't too kind to get into the boat uninvited. my uncle once shot a hole in teh bottom of his boat when a snake crawled in. ??? what was he thinking? i dont personally like to have snakes ridign with me. i would have tried to hit him with the trolling motor. i have heard that stink bait and cheese attract snakes. anyone else heard this?
