This brown trout forgot to spawn back in early November or something. The fish was as thick as it is long almost! Sorry about the eggs in the photo I wasn't even pressing hard and those eggs were spewing out.

Nice healthy looking brown. There are a number of reasons they don't lay their eggs but it does happen sometimes.

I got her back in as quick as i could those eggs were just spewing from stress. Man it's going to be quite the egg collections from those in next fall again.

use those eggs for bait they worked great little hard to get on hook trick is to let them freeze up a little

I have done it before, but that lake I caught that brown trout bait is now allowed only flies and lures.
