Got out tonight again. I’m trying to fish as much as possible. Got four eyes and lost several more. Three came on the lucky craft crank. One came on a craw colored rat l trap. Two were good sized keepers. One came around 630 or so. The rest came when the sun went down.

Most of the time I get fish and the people around me don’t get anything and if they do, they’re stockers. But I’m happy to help people out so I gave a group of guys a couple lures to try out and showed them what to do. There was a seagull helplessly wrapped up in fishing line floating down the shoreline. It was clear he was gonna die. He could barely keep his head above water. He had line all over him and coming out of his mouth. I got him and operated on him for about twenty minutes. Did my best to get all the line off him And when I was done he was able to stand on his own and spread his wings. He flapped his way into the water and paddled off. He was exhausted and had a small laceration on his wing but hopefully he’ll be okay.

Nice job, man! Good karma for you, both for helping the other fisherman and the gull! Your report's making me want to get out and chase some walleyes!
