hello all i have just recently got into salmonoid fishing, on lake michigan that is. i am going to steam boat springs the week of the 20th and was wondering if there is any good fishing around there. i am not so picky as to what kind of fish. just thought it would be fun. i have that thursday all to my self,wife has a convention to go to.

I figured I would chime in since I've been lurking on this board for a few weeks. Needless to say, this is an excellent site and superb resource for fishing in Colorado.
About me:
My name is Joe and I'm new to fishing in Colorado. I originally hail from WI and used to fish almost exclusively pan fish. I actaully caught my first fish in CO last weekend at 11 mile. It was a 19.5", slightly less then 4lb, Rainbow. I will be browsing the boards a bunch and may even chime in again if I have something worthwhile to say.
