Hit the same spot again. This time I was using a dark green swimn caffeine shad most of the time and landed one. I was working it along the bottom pretty slow. Not as big as the first one but decent nonetheless. Tried a jerk, too, but to no avail.

No. It’s a pretty small fishery and I’d prefer to let them go so they can grow! Every fish I’ve seen has been extremely healthy so I don’t know that they need to be thinned out at all. I’d hate to be a little trout or perch in this neighborhood.

That's an excellent looking Saugeye, way to go! You've really been getting out quite a bit.

Dang that is a beast of a saugeye! One of these days I will have to fish with someone who knows what they are doing for Walleye and Saugeye. I catch them every year, but most of the time I am targeting other species.
