The reports from this lake have come to a screetching halt-either its that good and guys don't want to talk about it or its that bad and guys don't want to talk about it. I'm guessing its in the summer doldrums. Anybody fish there lately? Ed
its been a while since i been down there the dang heat down below has kept me going to deweese in the early morning and evenning or headding even higher i think ill wait till it cools off or might go do some night fishing for some cats has the water come down enough to have better shore line access?
I don't fish it in the summer Ed, because the weeds grow to high in the coves and also when they draw the lake down, the fish seem to get stressed and not bite as much. In the spring, that place is heaven for me.
i dont think brush hollow is anybodies honey hole, i post everything i get at the hollow the lake is small and i dont post very specific locations like GPS # but will share the general lay of the lake and right know anything below 7500' is to hot to day fish
there never has been much input for brush hollow here it seems to be off the track for most here.
im going to try for some shore fishing for cats tonight hope the water is low enough for good access
sorry i was off subject ...but i have a little pond ive been doing really good on bass and dont really want to give it up yet ...how many other members have the same kind of area 's they fish
i have a few i keep close to my heart. some small places can be easily over fished so i might only share with individuals in private not post it in a public forum. even at big lakes i will share my results and techniques but have a few small areas of structure that i might keep to my self
We've talked about this subject before on the site. I think alot of the guys here have a pond or small lake they don't post reports on. I know I do. Its OK to keep a secret IMHO. Ed
