I was talking to a Game Warden about Hattie last year and he was telling me a friend of his caught either the biggest or second biggest laker in the derby last year. He said they stocked some brood fish from the Saratoga hatchery just before the derby and that they were dumb as a post. He caught a laker around 15 pounds in 4 feet of water with a big daredevil.
