ANyone ever use tadpoles for fishing? Also wheres a good place at Prospect Park (wheatridge ) to fish? I am a very new angler and would love some tips. I have only cought trout so far but would like to try catching crappie,perch bass. I went there for the Bass had no luck Which lake is better? ANy help would be great. Tired of getting skunked!

I've tried tadpoles many times with no luck. I'm sure there are places out there where the fish'll eat tadpoles without a second thought though.

Just remember Ward Pond is lures and flies only...
This time of year in the evening you can catch a ton of bass on buzzbaits @ Ward ;)

which pond is that? I was at west lake and bass lake. Sorry if i sound dumb but what is a buzz bait? is that a brand?

buzzbaits are like a (bass) spinnerbait, the kind with a big bent shaft with spinnerblades at the top, hook and dressing on the bottom part. but buzzbaits are topwater lures, instead of spinner blades you have buzz blades that buzz along the top. they make a cool gurgling noise and bass and pike love them.
