Has anyone fish the spillway lately? I have gone a couple of times but the water has been extremely low.

I think recently they have started releasing a lot of water.

For you those of you who are interested the link below shows an updated water flows behind Chatfield. I keep the link as one of my favorites.

Fished there yesterday about 6pm till' 9:00pm only caught one little walleye about 8-10", there is a good amount of water flow.

I think the inceased water flow is a little late this year and those fish that are usually sucked out have already moved out of the area.

I haven't fished it, but the South Platte at Evans and Santa Fe has been chocolate milk colored for about a week...and running low.

Noticed today that the water level was up from this morning, but still chocolate milk. With the flash flood advisory, I'd expect it to be about the same for the next couple days.
