There are fish in them.. You have main, kendrick, smith, cottonwood and various smaller ponds.. Best way to find stuff out is do a search and go and put in some time.

DOW has a free map that shows all these local waters with what type of fish that's in them and whether or not it allows boats, etc etc

lots of carp in smith res. head that theres also some decent bluegill and catfish in there. i've also been told that theres bass and perch, and i think that most of those lakes have about the same in them...i'll have to go look in my copy of fishing close to home--great book by the way it will give you a lot of options!

Kipling and Jewell is smith lake has lg bass, sm bass, blue gill,catfish, and carp. Lock your car ther lived in the apartments ther for a year and had 5 car radio's stolen. Kipling and floida is main lake same thing but also has some nice eye's hard to find tho. Get a fishing close to home book ther is small ponds all around that area.
