I found this 11mile site...that's a very tiger looking pike.

I know the patterns vary, but look at the stripes? Are there tigers in 11mile?

I vote pike. I fished some ponds in ND where the locals claim have only pike and not muskies. The lile pikes I was catchin (roughly the size of that one) had similar stripes.

Bring on the seasoned pike fishermen input!! Anyone? I would like to know too!!!

I grew up in minnesota and have caught thousands of pike...It looks like an esox lucius (norther pike) to me. the 'stripes' are really just the little white 'spots' that have run together a bit...in my experience, muskie stripes are different altogether. I haven't caught any colorado pike through so I'm unfamiliar with patterns here...i still say pike.

It's a pike.  I once caught a pike that I thought looked very tigerish and tried to make the argument that it was one.  That was before I had actually seen a tiger.  My mind changed the day I actually saw a tiger.  I wish it was me who caught it.  Anyway, the difference was obvious.
