Does anyone here fish the Arapaho Bend Ponds in Ft. Collins? I had never gone out there before so I went and looked them over yesterday after work. I think they look promising. Does anyone know what all is in them besides bass? A friend of mine always fishes them but all he fishes for is bass so that is all he talks about.

Arapahoe Bend Ponds used to have a lot of nice bass in the 14-17 inche range when they first opened about 6 years ago. Since then it seems the fishing has steadily declined. It's still probably good for a couple 13-15 inch bass every now and then, but I think nearby places like Big Thompson, Frank Easement, Prospect, Riverbend and Dixon are better.

Never fished them. Where are they located so I can check them out.

Go straight east on Horsetooth until it turns into a dirt road, keep going down the dirt road about a mile until it turns south and they are right there.
