Haven't been to the Poudre since early last year before the fires. I'm fairly positive the river hasn't quite recover yet. It's still beautiful up there.

Hit Joe Wright Res for some Arctic Grayling. We keep a few for shore lunch. I've never eaten a Grayling before. I was quite surprised that they tasted just like stocked trout - no flavor. I guess it would make sense since they are stocked by the DOW.

Ok, someone from the DOW told me that the Graylings in Joe Wright aren't stocked. They are wild but some of them needed to be harvested because they are over populated. Still taste like stocker rainbows to me. LOL

Surprised they taste like stocker bows to you. I personally love the way they taste, but that said I only keep them ice fishing season. Maybe they taste better in winter. Fun vid, had me cracking up with all the fish handling skills you guys were showing, haha. They sure are wriggly though.
