[Oats]

Has anyone fished the Arkansas between Buena Vista and Leadville. I've heard there's some cutts around, is this true? Just looking for some new water to try out.

Cutbows maybe, I've never caught a Cutthroat in that area. But that doesnt mean they arent there, just I have never caught any. Just Browns and Rainbows.
This area might be pretty muddy still from run off I'd call someone local before heading there to fish, if you arent local.

Not a local but pass through that area fairly offen and it all looks pretty good. I have seen a couple of pictures of Colorado Native Cutthroats coming out of the Arkansas around the Leadville area, not sure of the exact location. Just was wondering if there is a decent population or if they are pretty rare. Something about catching those natives! Well I guess I'll have to give it a try and see what happens, thanks for the info.
