Theres a good article in the Rocky Mtn News about all the stream habitat improvements they did on the nine miles of the Arkansas from the Pueblo dam to downtown. Should make this a much better trout stream. Go to the Rocky website and then the recreation page.

I fished part of it that was finished when they were still doing the rest, in Jan. The trout were stacked up in there and lovin it... They stock this area pretty good but it looks great, and has some potential.
