The Ark was fishing well this past weekend.too Sunny for BWO hatch but nymphs were doing OK. Should be good the next couple of weeks. No runoff yet either. I think with the warm weather it will start soon and maybe put a crimp in the Caddis hatch like it seems to do every other year.

Back in the day, I used to fish the Arkansas alot-Texas Creek, Cotapaxie, all the way down to Parkdale. Caught alot of browns on spinners (Panther Martins) and grubs. I'd fish there even in the winter on the nicer days if it was open and usually catch a few. Nothing real big and the trout seemed kind of skinny-I thought it might be the pollution from the mine tailings. But good numbers. Ed
