Water level is almost full, less then a vertical foot to the top. Water temp was 52--54deg in the morning reached 56-57deg by afternoon. Spotted several young bass starting to dig out. Was only able to land 2, about 15" and skinny. All the bass I spotted were on the north side as you come around the No Fishing sign, started there and worked down the shore about 200-300 feet, all around the submerged trees in that area. No one was trying to fish them. Used 7" plastic worms with no weight. Had to get them agitated to strike. Fished the north side point before it curves back towards the damn. I was able to land 14 trout, 8-15", nothing great but still fun. I only had 4 hours to fish. I love Circle Hooks.

How does that leg feel? When will you be ready to hike Gross Res.?

Glad you remembered. This was actually the first weekend which I was aloud to fish. I am still soar, especially after Saturday. But give me a few weeks and we can hook up, hike and get some tigers.
