Well...share them.

I fished Arvada Res. last summer but I hear it is best right when it opens. I have a small canoe that I love to take out there after work. Any ideas or strategies would be really appreciated.

Just fish it like any other trout pond, and it will hit. (most times) There are other types of fish in there, but I don't know enough about the lake to even get into that. Never had the boat out there. The shore can get kind of crowded sometimes though, but if you get a nice open spot you can count on a trout or two for dinner.

Not really sure if there are any fish of any size in there. But still a neat little place.

The big bass are deep right now. Use anything that jerks and will run along the bottom.I got to do a little fishing in there last weekend and thats how they caught giant bass. Trout are biting on almost anything. Most of the people fished right by the handicap dock adn caught numerous stocker trout. The deepest part is about 100 feet straight out from the handicap dock. Fishing this area may produce some of the predatory fish. Most of the rangers were fishing last weekend so talk to them.
