Hey guys! Heading out from New Jersey to the Aspen area for a wedding this weekend. Should be a beautiful long weekend!

My itinerary has changed slightly and is going to allow me some time to explore a little with the fly rod. Would anyone be willing to point me in the right direction of stream access points or maybe some hike in lakes where I can swing a fly?

Thanks all!

Find a fly shop in Glenwood, Carbondale or Basalt and buy a couple of flies and ask for info. They will be happy to help.

We hiked to the Pierre Lakes a couple years ago. Nice cutts in solitude.

Go to taylor creek fly shop, grab some flies, and head up the frying pan river. You'll catch fish.

Fishing in Aspen the Roaring Fork in Aspen isn't great.
