Hey everyone.

My friend and i went to Aurora Reservoir around 5:00 P.M. today (3/2) and fished the dam. When I was there Sunday I had to hike to find a fishing spot because it was so crowded, but today there were only ten or fifteen people fishing. The water was glass. The air temperature was in the high forties with no wind blowing and very light clowd cover. I spoke with two guys who had caught a couple 14 inch rainbows on salmon eggs in about ten feet of water. I cast a bottom rig with powerbait out about 40 feet and another bobber rig fishing about 8 feet deep with salmon eggs. I had one hit just as the sun dropped below the mountains on the powerbait, but I didn't get any other interest. The ranger I talked to told me in a week or so the marina area is going to be red hot. I'm making another trip to Aurora tomorrow (3/3) a little earlier in the afternoon. I might try out a different spot.

I'll give the report tomorrow.

I can't wait for Quincy, can you?
