Hey everyone.

WEll I decided to try my luck at Aurora again today since I had a half day of school. I arrived around 3:00 P.M. and saw a few people fishing along the bank. I wasn't in a walking mood so I found a seat and got to fishing. A guy walked by me with a bag of two nice rainbows and told me green powerbait was the ticket. I fished for awhile with the powerbait and didn't have any action until just before sundown. I got three hits before finally hooking up on bright yellow powerbait fished on the bottom only about ten feet from shore. A 14 inch rainbow was a nice way to end my day.

There is no ice at all along the dam and as far as I could see the lake was completely thawed. The ice season seemed a bit short this year.
