I catch em mostly with small plastic lures that are about 1 inch, i bought a bag of misc plastic lures from ebay and found a bunch of salted crafish in em. I put on a split shot at the bottom and tie the lure about 15 inches tot eh top with about 2 feet of 5x flyline. The crafish are under 1 inche in lenght. The tough part is keeping the bass from taking your hooked perch.

Problem with the salted crayfish is that soft plastics under 1 1/2" were not legal at Quincy last year. This
year the fact that they are salted makes them illegal to use.
