My son and I went to Aurora this morning.  The wind wasn't bad at all.  We
trolled from 6:15 to about 9:00.  We caught 7 rainbows total, with one
going about 20" and fat!  We used Buoyants and kastmasters.  I'm attaching
the picture of the biggest one O0

Boy, from looking at the Forum Reports, trout are really jumping (and hungry) at Aurora. We can't put our boat in there (gas motor), but we may try some shore fishing in the next week or so. In a few weeks, we do plan on getting the boat on Chatfield though.

Thats a nice big male bow.I think you mean 3-27-06 though.I'll be out there tomorrow.What area did you guys hit?I trolled to senac cove last thursday and only caught one(18"fatty though)I think i'll head twards the dam this time.Thanks for sharing the info!

Yes it was today, the 27th. I'm on vacation so I didn't
look at the calendar. We were trolling from the boat
launch area to almost Senac Cove, but didn't go that
far.

What color Kastmaster's were you using?

The kastmaster that I caught the largest one on was fire tiger colored. The
most fish were caught on the Bouyant in rainbow trout color. Good Luck!
