As some of you probably know by now, they have began construction for a new dock at Aurora, things are coming along nicely... as expected there is one lane on the east side and two on the west side but this is sure going to help with some of the congestion.

Still confused by the rules out there..
I know, NO Gas motors...
BUT, can you have Your "lower unit" in the water?
OR does it need to be completely out of the water?
What are the fees? :confused:

Its says on the boat ramp sign to have your gas motor raised but it isnt one they seem to enforce any longer...

There is a $10 annual boat launch zebra mussel sticker for your car/boat.

Plus the daily or annual admittance pass...

They are more likely to enforce the removable gas tanks be removed prior to launching rule...

I dont remember what the daily fee is these days 7 or 8 bucks and I think the annual is $70 for aurora non residents and $60 for Aurora residents...

If you have an inboard motor they won't let you on the lake if there is gas in the tank... I find it funny because they allow gas augers.

Annual pass (for Aurora only) rates:
$55 Resident
$65 Non-Resident
$45 Senior Resident
$55 Senior Non-Resident
$10 for any additional vehicle of an annual pass holder and yes as already mentioned $10 for a daily pass

There are also combo passes for both Aurora and Quincy (Open March through October)
