Didnt get out there until 7am and fished until noon...predominently using leeches from shore (dam)...Tom the guy who went with me missed a couple of bites...I countered with a 3 pound smallmouth...he didnt fight much...he was too fat...missed a couple of bites...broke off a wiper I wasnt ready for...Tom did the same...I finally broke the ice and caught a 27 inch wiper around 11:30...the bad part was we had to leave at noon...I stopped at Valley Country the bait store on Parker Road and had it weighed...it was just a hair over 11 pounds...all in all...plenty of action just not much catching...went back on Sunday...

If you go in Valley Country Bait store the picture is on the counter...Louise snapped a couple of polaroids...I have one too but I do not have a scanner...I also do not have a digital camera but that is going to be changing as soon as I find the article on the waterproof camera that I believe was in Infisherman...also the fish today Dennis had a disposable so when I get the pictures I will scan them in at work...and there arent any leaves on the trees in my pictures...because there arent any trees at Aurora...

I plan on being in that part of town when I help my son move on Wednesday, I might just have to stop and see it! Congratulations on a great catch, Is that Master Angler size?

I talked to (crap cant think of his name having a senior moment) ranger at Aurora on Sunday a bunch...he has caught them to 16 pounds and his buddy caught a 17 pounder which is the lake record...he thinks there is a good a chance a 20 pounder swims in there...
