Headed down to the ponds after work today. Great weather! Tried the big pond 1st (4:30). For a 1/2 hour. Not a bite. Switched to 1st pond. Got one (stocker bow) off a super duper 1st cast. Caught 5 off a little cleo, and 1 off power-bait. Left by 6:30. The place wasn't near as crowded as it was Sunday.    ???    Just wondering,    ???    I drive past quite a few bodies of water on 66, between Lyons and I-25 (on way to Barbor). Are any of them good (& if so for what species)? I see people fishing on both sides of some sort of water treatment plant? I know there is another lake, a little off 66th. I watched for the sign today, but must have missed it. Any info?

The water treatment plant is private club, Mile High Bass, or Sunset, or something, $1500 to join, $500 a year, guess it is awsome fishing, but thats a lot of money. McCall's is jsut a little past that, its in my other post, named Honey holes, or something or other. Good bass, lots of ppl only fish for trout.
