Fished Barr last night for a few hours for cats...water was very low (but not as low as everyone made it sound i thought) and had a think layer of green scum near the shore...but it wasnt too bad i dont think. we saw plenty of people fishing....but no one catching. we had maybe 2 hits all evening on crawlers, but that was it. another skunk to put on the log books....

That layer of green scum goes all the way across the lake, end to end unless something's changed since last Wed. How low does that place get?

I could only see as far as my flashlight would shine, so i cant confirm if i went all the way across. at least it was only a surface covering, last year there was a bunch of times it was like green yogurt. i havnt seen it much lower than that, but i guess a few years ago it was almost completely drained...

It was. And it was quite a recovery. From what I heard they only had to restock the trout. The rest of the fish did pretty well.
