That sucks but at least they aren't trying to rotenone them to death and give every deep pool in the rivers some shock therapy... Like they do the yampa.. Or have mandatory kill orders and will fine the hell out of you for CNR like they do at Eagles nest nm...
This last week I fished several stretches from Craig to the mouth of catamount lake... All the deeper pools I known were devoid of pike.
