beautiful day at green mountain

started the day a little chilly at nine degrees but quickly warmed up to a perfect 33 when i left.now the fishing report. it was slow,slow,slow i managed only two small lakers saw plenty on the fish finder at times but they would rise up and then just back away. tried white tubes with sucker, white tubes with dead shiners, tried downsizing, using spoons. i don't know,laker fishing use to be a lot easier.covered a lot of ground by the islands but no go. ice is a good ten inches with only a layer of two inch hard pack on top.
