For the hell of it, I bought a couple of the Pistol Pete type wooly buggers, and cast one out on a bubble to see how the stockers at Berkley Lake might react. Caught two within 20 minutes, with several more bites. Lots of activity in the water, and the weeds are growing quickly.

On the same day, I was shocked to see a fairly decent walleye on the shore of Sloan's lake!
