I don't care what anyone says, it's still funny. And the references to "leaves on the trees" keep showing up in the strangest places! LOL

Lurp wasnt saying I didnt believe you...old walleye joke around here...have you come close to duplicating that at Lonetree...that place is so full of forage...I have caught small walleyes and wipers there...but no biggees and with no regularity...I think Lonetree has plenty of monsters...I just havent figured it out...so impressed I am...wasnt questioning your credibility at all...

In Colorado...
lots of trout between 3-5lbs on various rivers. Some favorites are the Williams Fork, Colorado (of course), and the spillway between shadow mtn and Granby. When the Kok are running you can't beat the spillway and there is no better winter fishing than the Will Fork.
Outside Col.
8+ lb largemouth, 350 lb blue marlin, 200lb sailfish, and a bunch of salmon and tuna...none big enough to brag about though. The large mouth may be a fish story at this point since it's been about twenty years since I caught him. All I remember was he was so big that I initially thought I was seeing the back of an alligator swimming through the small pond on the side of the highway. I was only eight at the time.

Best of species: 12" bluegill (C-anne 17July2005)

Bass action was real slow on a private pond I fish once in a great while, so I started hammering bluegill.

This one was 12 inches. Mini-senko.

looks like with a little fattening up he'd be right at home at jerry creek! Nice gill! I've never got many gills above 10" anywhere except jerry so I know how rare they are.
